1) Order Cancellation Policy
Before Preparation Starts
Customers can cancel their order only if the preparation has not started.
After Preparation Starts
Once the order is accepted and preparation has started, cancellation is not allowed, as all food is freshly cooked specially for the customer.

2) Return Policy
ChefCoat Biryani sells freshly prepared food, hence returns are not accepted once the order is delivered.
3) Refund Policy
Refunds will be provided only in the following cases:
✅ Refund Eligible Cases
• Payment was successful but order was not placed/confirmed
• Duplicate payment / charged twice
• Order not delivered due to our operational issue
• Wrong item delivered (verified case)• Missing item (verified case)
• Food was delivered in spilled/damaged condition (verified case)
❌ Refund Not Eligible Cases
• Change of mind after placing the order
• Taste preference issues
• Order cancelled after preparation started
• Incorrect address provided by customer
• Customer not reachable / order not received at the time of delivery
4) Refund Process Timeline
• Once approved, refund will be initiated within 3–7 business days
• Refund will be credited back to the original payment method (Razorpay/UPI/Card/Netbanking)
